We are excited to partner with the Chesapeake Regional Accessible Boating (CRAB). Based out of Annapolis, CRAB is an organization whose mission is to bring the thrill and freedom of sailing to persons with disabilities, recovering warriors and local youth from at-risk neighborhoods. Brendan participants are invited to the Sail Free Sundays. These sails are designed to introduce persons with disabilities and their families to the therapeutic value and pure joy of the wind and water on Chesapeake Bay. The family sails are scheduled one Sunday in each month from April through October.
If you have not done so already, we urge you to consider a donation this holiday season. We have recently expanded our base-programs to Washington, D.C. and want to be able to provide more scholarships than ever before. As many of you know, we never turn down a child due to financial reasons, and we know how important it is for children to have self-confidence and worth. Programs like these make such a difference in lives of the children who participate, and we want to continue the tradition of scholarships for years to come.
